Evercrete Deep Penetrating Sealer

  1. Determination of Crack Sealing Capabilities of Evercrete Deep Penetrating Sealer (DPS) tested in accordance with modified AASHTO T259
Results: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS and tested in accordance with modified AASHTO T 259 showed to have crack sealing capabilities of sealing cracks ranging from 0.5 - 0.3mm.
  2. Determination of Concrete's Ability to Resist Chloride Ion Penetration tested in accordance with ASTM C1202 - 91
Results: Concrete tested in accordance with ASTM C1202-91 and treated with Evercrete DPS showed a 600% (or 6 times) greater resistance to chloride ion penetration than untreated concrete.
  3. Determination of Effectiveness of Penetrating Concrete Sealers by Water Absorption in accordance with AASHTO Designation TP50-95
Result: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS and tested in accordance with AASHTO TP50-95 was classified a "Good Sealer". "Good Sealer" is the top classification for best performance of a waterproofing sealer.
  4. Illinois Department of Transportation ASTM C 672 - Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction Concrete Sealers
Results: Evercrete Deep Penetrating Sealer (DPS) complies with the requirements for Concrete Sealers when tested in accordance with ASTM C 672
  5. Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) - Approves Evercrete as a Concrete Road and Bridge Waterproofer
Result: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS, was evaluated and passed the Virginia Department of Transportation's requirements for a concrete coating for road and bridge decks, columns and parapets.
  6. Determination of Reduction in Water Absorption.
Alberta Transport and Utilities, Bridge Materials, Test Procedure BT001-May 92

Results: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS produced a reduction in water uptake of more than 83%.

  7. Permeability and Absorption Test - BSI 1881. Pt 5 1970 ISAT (Superceded by Part 208: 1996)
Results: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS provides a significant improvement in the concrete permeability and absorption of more than 99%.
  8. Study of the Determination of Depth of Penetration of Evercrete Deep Penetrating Sealer by the National Taiwan Ocean University
Results: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS shows a penetration into concrete of more than 2cm to create a waterproof barrier.
  9. Determination of Resistance to De-icing Chemicals, Salt and Moisture Contamination during Freeze /Thaw Conditions - Tested in accordance with ASTM C672/C 672N-03
Results: Concrete tested in accordance with ASTM C672/C 672N-03 and treated with Evercrete DPS showed a 400% (or 4 times) greater resistance to scaling of concrete when exposed to de-icing chemicals, salt and moisture contamination during Freeze/ Thaw conditions.
  10. Determination of Compressive Strength
Results: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS shows an increase of more than 30% in the compressive strength of the treated concrete.
  11. Determination of Stain Resistance
Results: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS shows a significant improvement against staining and stain resistance.
  12. Dusting Resistance
Results: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS shows a 100% improvement against dusting due to abrasion. Concrete treated appear about twice as resistant to dusting as the untreated concrete
  13. Determination of Water Retention by Concrete Curing Materials ASTM C156-03
Results: Concrete treated with Evercrete DPS will act as a curing agent as it reduces the loss of water in concrete by more than 60%, as well as the reduction of formation of hairline cracks and spot drying.
