Evercrete Everwood has the ability to extend the lifetime of most wooden structures and elements through hardening, preserving, sealing and waterproofing. How does Everwood work?
Upon penetration the catalyst in Evercrete Everwood reacts with the alkali and acids present in most wood cells, forming an aero silica gel membrane on the surfaces of the cell walls. This membrane forms an internal seal and barrier against water and other causes of deterioration. Over a period of time the silica gel membrane hydrates and hardens into a crystalline structure within the wood leaving a clear natural finish and no film or membrane on the wood surface. Evercrete Everwood needs only be applied once for a lifetime of protection.
