How
to Apply Evercrete Top Seal
- Do not dilute or
mix Evercrete Top Seal with other liquids. Use only as supplied.
- Excessive application
of Evercrete Top Seal may in some cases slightly alter the surface color.
Always test on a small area before using.
- One coat application.
- Make sure that
the area to be treated is dry.
- Do not apply to
glass, glazed surfaces, or aluminium as etching will occur. In case
of accidental contact, immediately rinse thoroughly with water.
- Shake well and
apply liberally using brush, roller or spray to saturate the area.
- On walls, apply
from the bottom up.
- On floors, apply
Evercrete Top Seal so that the surface has a mirror wet look. Do not
allow ponding.
- Recommended coverage
15-35m2 (approx.150-350 sq.ft.) per gallon (one coat). The coverage
depends on the porosity of the surface treated and the surface absorption.
- Top Seal is not
meant to fill or seal visible cracks.
- In areas where
foreign matter such as grease or oil have penetrated below the surface,
use an appropriate cleaning agent (for instance Evercrete Deep Clean),
and allow to dry thoroughly.
- Limited foot traffic
is permissible after four hours. Keep dry for at least 72 hours for
full curing.
- Clean equipment
with water.
- Excess Top Seal
will result in white dry powder on the surface and can be removed with
dry cloth.
